FUNDA LAND Opening December At The Amazing Leisure Box!!

Local award-winning business FUNDA is teaming up with Burnley FC In The Community at The Leisure Box, a multi-million-pound sports and community leisure facility.

FUNDA is recognised as one of the North West most exciting companies and currently provides Holiday Camps, Childcare, Nursery, School Provision and Physical Education (P.E) Curriculum proven to EMPOWER, educate, motivate and inspire children to get ACTIVE, have fun and reach their full potential.

FUNDA is adding another string to its bow by opening the ultimate FUNDA LAND attraction that will provide a new improved Indoor Soft Play, Children's Activities, Themed Birthday Parties, Bumper Carz, Lazer Zone, Entertainment, Cafe, Fitness Gym & Childcare Crèche for children 0-12, adults carers, childminders, nursery/primary schools including SEND.

The former warehouse at Northlight Mill has been transformed into a state-of-the-art, 133,00 square foot leisure facility. The impressive, regional and national award-winning complex offers a 3G outdoor 7 a-side pitch, indoor 4G, badminton, table tennis, pickleball and state-of-the-art cricket facilities. Additionally, the Leisure Box also boasts the largest Clip and Climb in East Lancashire. 

FUNDA LAND is a comprehensive model that hosts Active Learning, Enriching Children’s Activities, Games, Themed Birthday Parties, Bumper Carz, Childcare Crèche, Fitness Gym and Leisure for the whole family. Children will be able to enjoy new additions to the facilities which will include an extended Indoor Soft Play Area, Football, Archery, Fencing, Bumper Carz and an exclusive indoor FUNDA Lazer Zone development designed by FUNDA that is actually one of the first of its kind here in the UK and across Europe.

Customers can take advantage of the FUNDA Cafe, workout in the improved FUNDA Gym, breakaway, work on-site taking advantage of our Childcare Crèche, business workspace, visit the local shopping centre Pendle Village Mill, or book one of the many onsite sporting and family activities that the Leisure Box has to offer.

Dr Sara Ward, the Cheif Executive of Burnley FC in the Community, has also shared her excitement for the upcoming partnership with FUNDA. We’ve partnered with FUNDA so they can develop the current Indoor Soft Play, Gym, and former Dance studio with the Childcare expertise FUNDA brings. FUNDA LAND will also host enrichment visits for schools, nurseries and childminder’s alongside professional development opportunities. Kieran said: “We also have plans to launch a Paediatric Physiotherapy, SEND and NHS referrals hub to support children and young people's physical, emotional, social, nutrition and mental health, this is a real passion of mine. We will also be enhancing our FUNDA birthday parties here as they are always the best parties in town”.
