Who Is The Programme For?

This holiday provision is for children who receive benefits-related free school meals.

Local authorities are asked to ensure that the offer of free holiday club provision is available for all children eligible for and in receipt of free school meals in their area. This does not mean they are all required to attend as the provision is voluntary.

The free holiday club places must be targeted at children who are eligible for and receiving benefits-related free school meals.

We also encourage local authorities to make the holiday clubs available to any children not eligible for and in receipt of free school meals, who can pay to attend. This might be through operating:

bespoke provision
as part of already existing holiday provision in the area
a mixed arrangement depending on the local supply and demand for provision

Other children and families with need

Local authorities must get written approval from us to use their funding to provide free or subsidised holiday club places for children who are not in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.

We’ll consider requests to use up to 15% of your programme funding to provide places for children who are considered by the local authority as vulnerable or in need of this provision. This may include, for example:

children assessed as being in need
looked-after children
children with an EHC plan (education, health and care)
children assessed as otherwise vulnerable
children living in areas of high deprivation

You must be able to demonstrate that you are:

offering the programme comprehensively across the full geographical area
fully meeting demand from free school meal eligible children in the area

How Do I Prove My Child Can Attend?

Upon booking you will need to enter the code you will receive from your school. If you have not got this please contact your school.

If you register when you are not eligible you will incur the full cost of the provision.

How Do I Book My Child's Place?

To create a booking account please CLICK HERE/ click Login/Book Now which is on this page. Create an account, choose Accrington as your centre add your children and you will then be able to make a booking.

When selecting an activity please choose the FUNDA | Fun With Food & Friends HAF Programme at Accrington Centre. The cost of this will be set at £0.00. However you must enter your Activity Code upon booking or your place may be cancelled.

What Time Does It Start & Finish?

You are able to drop off your child any time between 8:00am - 9:15am in the morning.

You are able to collect your child any time between 4:00pm - 6:00pm in the afternoon.

Is Food Provided?

Yes, included within the HAF funding is a nutritious healthy meal, this will be served on site. Please ensure you complete your child's dietries/allergies correctly when booking.

If you visit of Help Centre it will state food isn't provided. This is because food is only provided within the HAF funded programme.

What Will My Child Be Doing?

Your child will be taking part in differentiated physical activities that are proven to: ENGAGE, INSPIRE, MOTIVATE & EMPOWER every child.

Sport does NOT inspire ALL and for this reason FUNDA ensure that every child is engaged by delivering physical activity, rather than just sport all all day, every day. Specially trained FUNDA Educators will be teaching and delivering many activities including;

Physical Activities
Sports
Creative Play
Competitions
Inflatable Obstacle Courses, Pillow Wars, Slides, Bouncy Castles.
Health Education
Fitness
Wake & Shake
Theme Days
...And So Much!

There will still also be plenty of sport involved alongside all other activities.

FUNDA is compliant with OfSTED meaning all our teaching and learning fully compliments the early years and primary school curriculum.

I Have Already Booked Without The Funded Place?

As we have already launched bookings for ACCROSS in line with our standard programme you may have booked and be eligible for the free funded places. If this is the case, please contact our Head Office and we will draft a credit note for what you have already paid.
